This motor is built specifically for EV applications. Each motor weights around 200 lbs and can provide around 170 horsepower. We expect each motor to be able to supply 164 ft/lbs of torque. The motors were purchased through Metricmind. These are the motors that were going to be used in the DaimlerChrysler EPIC electric van.
